The History

The History Cynthia Blair 2019-03-18T02:21:06+01:00
In 2008 Memories in Music’s founder, Annie Hollinshead, staged an exhibit of Led Zeppelin fan
memorabilia at Knebworth House stately home. Another exhibit in Birmingham followed, and after
the success of those exhibits, the project to create a comprehensive all genre UK music museum
became the focus.

Along the way since 2008, many changes have taken place and various people have come and gone;
but the project remains on course through all these. Today it is in a strong position with interest
from the Birmingham Council, and acting advisers Traci Dix-Williams (Director of Operations at
the Ironbridge World Heritage Museums), and cultural heritage company Barker Langham.
